The Pedalboard Headphone Amp from Slow Gear Electronics is a convenient solution to take your practice sessions to the next level! Most presently available headphone amp solutions are not connectable with your main rig. This affects your practice vs live experience as the tones and vibes you get from both are different. This Headphone Amp however, allows you to connect your main pedalboard or audio setup directly into the pedal and allows you to practice with your full rig. This gives you the closest experience during practice as you would live.
Another key aspect with this Headphone Amp is the Aux-in feature. This allows you to connect your phone or other mobile device into the pedal to feed in an audio track via Spotify, Planning Center or other apps. This allows you to practice along with a backing track or song for a practice session closest to playing live. There is also an Aux-in mix control to allow you to control how much of the audio would be fed into the Phones output. The Aux-in is also isolated from the main outputs and would not be fed into your speakers or FOH. Additionally, here are several other key features to note:
- An in-built reverse polarity switch that allows for convenient correction of out-of-phase dual cab-sim setups such as dual Iridium or UA setups.
- MONO switch for players using only one cab-sim.
- A Gain level control that allows you to switch from Instrument vs Line-level. This allows you to not only practice with guitar/bass (INST LVL) but also other instruments such as keyboards or vocals (LINE LVL). This control only affects the Phones output.
- TS stereo inputs. High impedance (1Meg) input on the L channel for direct input of an instrument.
- TS stereo buffered outputs. Guitar only.
- Runs on 9 to 12Vdc only. Needs 100mA to 200mA depending on headphone impedance. Centre-Negative.
- 4.57 in x 3.03 in x 2.0 in (116 mm x 77 mm x 51 mm)
3.5mm to 1/4" Adaptor is included.
