The Austin Blender is a remake of the Clean Octave Blend (COB) pedal used by many artists. Being able to blend the octave offers way more tone options than a standard octavia fuzz. This is also one of the best clean boosts when you blend and the gain is on zero.
The mistake switch is a result of one of the first few Austin Blenders that were built for a well known artist from Austin Texas who had a huge liking for fuzzes. One part that was build in was labelled wrong and the sound turned out different. Not bad.. but different in a good way!
